JoAnna Says:

The back story:
JoAnna likes to check to weather every morning before school.  She's not convinced when I tell her to just open the front door to feel the temperature and look at the sky for clouds.  Instead, she insists she needs to find out what the high temperature of the day will be.  By now, she's well familiar with reading the temperature in degrees.  She has also learned a little about degrees in math as they refer to geometry.

The setting:
A friend gave us a puzzle for Christmas with a picture of the Salt Lake Temple.  When all the pieces are assembled they form a sphere.  One day, JoAnna was looking closely at the box and with a smirk on her face declared, "Today's Salt Lake Temp. is 360 degrees."
