Now we're on a roll

Now that JoAnna knows from her own experience that it really doesn't hurt to pull out a tooth that's dangling and ready to go, we're in business. She lost her second tooth on Friday and even pulled it out herself! This time we got a much better picture since the new tooth wasn't half grown in already. (She'd been so scared about it hurting the first time that she refused to wiggle it.) She's tickled by her first experiences of actually having a hole in her mouth.

Songs of God

We were sitting in Sacrament Meeting, getting used to having it last in the church block with three kids. In the struggle to keep reverent, at least before the Sacrament is passed, Lizzie declared to me that she was about to sing "Songs of God!" She then proceeded in the sweetest singsong and Sacrament Meeting appropriate voice, "Blah! Blah! Blah!" I got a little bit of a reprimanding glance from my dear husband when I giggled.
