Daylight WHAT?

For all of you who enjoyed a nice relaxing extra hour of sleep last Saturday night, or perhaps had an extra luxurious hour to add finishing touches to your Sunday School lesson, perhaps, happy end of daylight savings. For those of you, like me, who got an extra hour of kids whining about what else they can have for breakfast while you suffer through Fast Sunday, better luck next spring, eh?

This mornings' time adjustment drama trumped the rest of the week as all three of my children (Yes, that includes Lizzie, who had her favorite sister's help) were bright eyed, dressed, and ready for breakfast by the time they'd made enough noise to rouse their mother at 5:14 this morning.

Tonight, we've jacked up the heater in hopes that a little druglike heat in the morning will convince a certain 6 year old that she really would rather just stay in bed a little longer. So, here's to another long, post daylight savings time end, day in the life as the mother of overeager rooster children.

Sleeping in is another one of those things that you would never have to beg a grownup to do! If only kids knew how easy they have it... :)
